Hey there! I’m sarah!

Let me start by telling you a little bit about myself. I’ve been taking pictures for as long as I can remember. I grew up with my grandpa having slide shows of his pictures and my mom constantly at the camera shop getting film developed. Now continuing their tradition, I photograph families who want to have their journey captured and turned into beautiful artwork. Whether you are impatiently waiting for your little bundle of joy to arrive or you are about to be empty-nesters with a senior, I love working with people to capture exactly who they are in this season of their life. My hope is that they will have something to help them look back on those fond memories with.

When I’m not photographing families like yours, you can find me hanging out with my three sons, Caden, Jackson, and Logan. Being a single mom, you may find me bringing Caden to an activity at NISRA, bringing Jackson up to the ballpark for T-Ball, or bringing Logan to a story time up at the library. When the boys are at their dads, I can be found drinking tons of coffee (which lets be honest here, that happens when the boys are with me too), “forcing” my boyfriend to watch Gilmore Girls on Netflix, or out and about exploring our community (personally I’m a big fan of the Farmers Market at the Dole Mansion and all the adorable mom and pop shops in downtown Crystal Lake).
